CPR Certification Courses
In partnership with Sunflower Nannies, an agency that offers nanny placement services, including newborn care specialists, temporary nannies, family assistants, and housekeepers, Surf's Up Swim programs will start offering In Person American Red Cross CPR/AED and First Aid Courses.

Course Offerings
1. CPR/AED for Adults, Children, and Infants:

Learn the fundamentals of recognizing situations where CPR, AEDs, and/or first aid are required.

Understand how to administer life-saving assistance to victims of all ages until professional help arrives.
2. First Aid Training:

Gain knowledge in managing minor injuries, sudden illnesses, and environmental emergencies.

The Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED course (around 3 hours) incorporates the latest science and teaches students to recognize and care for a variety of first aid emergencies such as burns cuts scrapes sudden illnesses head neck back injuries heat and cold emergencies and how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies to help victims of any age - adults (about 12 years and older) and pediatric (infants and children up to 12 years of age). Students who successfully complete this course will receive a certificate for Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED valid for two years.

Eligibility
To be eligible for our American Red Cross CPR and AED/First Aid courses, participants must meet the following criteria:

Age Requirement: Participants must be at least 13 years old.

Pre-Registration: Must pre-register for the course through our website or contact us directly.

Course Completion: Successfully complete all course components, including online pre-work (if applicable) and in-person skills sessions.

Attendance: Attend all sessions of the course, whether fully in-person or blended (online and in-person).

Hands-On Practice: Engage in hands-on practice sessions to demonstrate proficiency in CPR, AED use, and first aid skills.

Assessment: Pass all written and practical assessments as part of the course requirements.
