His teaching spectrum covers the essential basics and safety in the water to the refined techniques needed at the swim team level. Make waves with Coach Jimmy, whose passion for water polo spans over 8 years! As a competitive master’s swimmer and seasoned coach, Jimmy possesses a deep understanding of what it takes to excel in the pool. His expertise isn’t just limited to swimming; as a water polo player himself, he’s well-equipped to elevate your skills from fundamental water safety to advanced swim and water polo techniques. Jimmy is also CPR/AED/First Aid certified.

Jump right in with coach Gracie! She is a dedicated long-distance swimmer for the women's Loyola Marymount University Swim Team, with a passion for competitive swimming since age 6, especially in rough ocean waters. She comes to us from her previous role as head coach at Beach Sports, where she specialized in teaching ocean swimming and water safety to young children. Her certifications in lifeguarding, first aid, and CPR further underscore her commitment to water safety. She is driven by a desire to instill a love for water in all, mirroring her own passion.

Dive into the pool with coach Leo! Bringing seven years of combined experience as a water polo player and swimmer since 2017, Leo has a rich background in aquatic sports. His journey began with a high school community service program, where he taught special education kids and teens how to swim and play water polo over three summers. In April 2023, he started working at Water Wings Swim School, where he honed his skills in teaching swimmers of all levels—from toddlers just starting out to experienced pre-team teens. Known for his patience and expertise, Leo specializes in handling lessons for children who are apprehensive or nervous about water. 

Meet Coach Shaina, a versatile swim instructor with over four years of experience in teaching swim lessons across all age groups, including adults. Shaina has honed her expertise as the head coach of a club swim team and is particularly skilled in working with babies, individuals on the spectrum, and those experiencing high levels of anxiety related to water. Beyond the pool, Shaina holds a master's qualification in Library and Information Management, with a specialization in children's libraries. Her unique blend of aquatic coaching and educational expertise makes her an exceptional guide for learners navigating their way through water confidence and safety.

Plunge into success with Coach Eli! With a strong background in both competitive swimming and coaching, Eli's passion for the water started on his high school swim and water polo teams, leading him to compete on his college swim team and later on a Masters team. His extensive coaching experience includes roles at Los Angeles Pierce College, Lenny Krayzelburg Swim Academy, and Water Wings Swim School, where he has taught swimming to learners of all ages and abilities. Additionally, Eli has served as a private American Red Cross Certified Lifeguard and swim instructor, specializing in personalizing swim lessons to meet the unique needs of each student.
